A LOT lower change of nicking a rip in your tarp. • Large comfort shaped handle for pushin' it in and pullin' it out • Diameter big enough not to flex under strong hand pressure while staking We used to carry the smaller .22oz Ti stakes, but don't anymore - too flimsy. These weigh a tiny bit more but hold a much wider range of ground and higher wind with less need to carry extras for doubling up.
